HOW OUR OFFICE IS WORKING TO PROTECT OUR PATIENTS
COVID - 19 has taken a toll on everyone around the globe. We are not individual in our struggles and through following CDC guidelines and taking advice from other medical offices, we have been able to alter our procedures in order to keep our patients safe and happy in a time when both feel impossible.
Our new practices allow us to ensure that every patient that sits down is safe and arriving in a sterile environment.
Our hygienists, assistants and office staff wear personal protective equipment to ensure the safety of themselves and others. While it might feel strange to arrive to a dentist appointment wearing a mask, we do ask a few things of our patients while navigating this new normal, including:
While some of these may seem intense, this pandemic is reaching every corner of the globe and our priority is the safety of every individual that enters our office and those we go home to. Please remain patient with us as our staff navigates through the hoops and hurdles of maintaining a sterile and safe environment during a global pandemic.
Dr. Klein and his staff are available if you have any question concern or comment. Please give our office a call!

- Wearing a mask in our waiting room and in the operatories until otherwise instructed.
- Calling from the parking lot when you arrive to your appointment / arriving to your appointment on time.
- Having your temperature taken upon arrival and maintaining a safe distance from other patients in the waiting room.
- Alerting staff if you have had COVID-19, including how long ago and if you have tested negative since.
- Canceling your appointment if you have been exposed to COVID-19, have a fever or a cough, have a runny nose, body aches, or shortness of breath.

CDC RECOMMENDATION FOR MASK WEARING
- CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings and when around people who don’t live in your household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
- Cloth face coverings may help prevent people who have COVID-19 from spreading the virus to others.
- Cloth face coverings are most likely to reduce the spread of COVID-19 when they are widely used by people in public settings.
- Cloth face coverings should NOT be worn by children under the age of 2 or anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
Office layout
Our office was impacted by the shutdown that forced the closure of many doctors offices around the country. In that time we were able to renovate our space to allow for a more sterile and welcoming environment for care, including:
- Replacing the carpet with flooring that can be more easily cleaned with solution that will better kill germs and viruses.
- Repainting the walls with paint that is wipeable and cleanable.
- Removing decorations from the operatories to ensure that all surfaces of the office are easily cleaned and properly disinfected.
- Investing in automatic cleaning equipment that can sterilize the office during the weekend and evening and help maintain the cleanliness of the office.
OUR NEW LOOK
To keep our staff and patients safe, we have outfitted our staff in personal protective gear that includes:
- Layered masks,
- Face Shields,
- Surgical grade gowns and scrub caps.
